Helliers LaneThis scheme was unsuccessful in securing funding during 2009/10. A revised funding proposal was recently submitted and a bid of £2.48m has been secured from the Homes and Community Agency for funding in 2010/11 with a revised Affordable Housing proposal for 31 x rented homes and 10 homebuy units from Guinness Hermitage and 26 x Low Cost Home Ownership units from First Step Homes. The scheme is an Exception site situated to the west of Cheddar with a local allocations policy giving preference to local residents ñ it is a mix of 1,2,3 and 4 bed units. North East BridgwaterOver £11m of funding has been invested in this project from the Homes and Community agency. This site is part of a large development of 2,000 homes, on the site of the old Bridgwater Cellophane factory and surrounding area.
