**PLEASE BE AWARE THAT BIDS CANNOT BE PLACED ON A MONDAY OR TUESDAY AT ANY TIME** - Properties advertised via the Homefinder Somerset Scheme are advertised in 'Letting Cycles'. These are weekly cycles that start on a Wednesday 12.01am and close the following Sunday at 11.59pm. Applicants will be able to bid and search for properties at anytime during this cycle. The cycle is then closed on Monday and Tuesday for processing any bids made. Important changes affecting properties allocated through Homefinder Somerset. We are a partnership of local authorities and housing associations working together to make the process of finding a home simple and transparent for all applicants looking for housing in Somerset. If you are looking for social housing anywhere in Somerset you now only have to complete one application form and your needs will be assessed against the same clear set of criteria no matter where you live. You will then be able to use our Choice Based Lettings service to apply for homes that you are interested in. Almost anyone can apply to join the scheme including existing tenants who would like to transfer.
